WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

>SAKSHAM / MITRA- Financial Literacy and Inclusion for Women:-
The training to women through awareness generation meeting for financial inclusion through bank linkage and adoption of
social security schemes of central and state govt. And built the financial capacity of the women participating to become a part of financial
knowledge.
This CSR programme of IIFL-Foundation, Mumbai and Implementing Partner at Sukalyan Welfare Society -Kolkata. We are
the NGO partner for North Bengal Districts. Since 2018 to 2020 there were 8000+ nos. approximated women trained by us and approximately
3478+ nos. of women were linkage to Different Public Benefited Govt Schemes directly for their future Inclusion.
>NIIT Mahindra CSR “DHANSAMVAAD”- This 2020-2021 financial year we have also working on Financial & Digital Literacy training
programme in collaboration with NIIT Foundation-Delhi via NIIT Foundation West Bengal and approximately 2000+ beneficiaries benefited in
this training during Uttar Dinajpur District.

> SHG Formation and Training:
From its inception every year we formed Self Help Group (SHG) for women and trained them with linkage to bank also with
livelihood and empowerment training.
> NATIONAL VOLUNTARY WEEK:
In the year 2018 we have organise National Voluntary week during Chopra block for community mobilisation through
volunteering awareness meeting with SHG women leaders for empower socially and economically disadvantage communities across rural
India’s by straitening their voluntary capability.
>SANITARY NAPKIN:-
DNEWS also running its special programme on Low Cost SANITARY NAPKIN making basic training for SHG Women.
 NABARD- Govt of India- LEDP Programmes for the “Herbal Mosquito Repellent training & credit linkage also provided by us for SHG’s
Women of Ghirnigaon Gp of Uttar Dinajpur District under West Bengal RO-NABARD through DDM-Uttar Dinajpur.
 USHA SILAI SCHOOL MONITORING :- We have completed a project USHA SILAI SCHOOL for SC/ST women of West Bengal Partially in
North Bengal 6 District in partnership with Sukalyan Welfare Society-Kolkata under SWS CSR Project monitoring and filed report
during June to August 2020 and monitored a total number of 622 schools across the 6 district of North Bengal i.e. Jalpaiguri , Uttar
Dinajpur , Coochbehar , Dakshin Dinajpur , Alipurduar.
